Newbie

So I finally dove into the world of blogging. But I kinda had to make a deal with myself because I know I could totally get sucked into something like this and leave very little time for the important stuff. Have you ever been around me when a new DJ Inkers cd comes out?! Let's just say I could spend hours creating cutesy things that could have been made in 10 minutes. No Joke.

 I survived my first two weeks of teaching 2nd grade! I know...you're thinking TWO weeks already? Yes. We start early. But who am I kidding, I've been back at school and working in my classroom since the last week of July. I had to move classrooms (which is NEVER fun) but it allowed me to change my classroom theme again and that is ALWAYS fun. I'll post some pics later.

My students are as sweet as pie and oh-so-lovable! I really did get an awesome class last year...did I mention I moved classrooms cause I looped with my kids? I've always wanted to loop...so when I was asked to move grade levels, I was ecstatic agreed. :)

Well, Friday is almost here...AND it's a three day weekend! *Insert sigh of relief!* I better get ready for bed...working near downtown LA means I gotta wake up at the crack of dawn to beat the traffic. Who am I kidding...Angelinos can never really beat the traffic.
