Five for "Friday" but really Sunday...

Happy Sunday Funday!! I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to post 5 random things from this week. I'm SUPER late. Soweeeeeee. :(

1) The mister and I FINALLY got our wedding photos and album from our wedding in Italy. What a sweet surprise to get them in the mail...11 MONTHS LATER! No joke...one month shy of our anniversary. We love Italy and the relaxed pace of life they live, but always putting things off for "domani" doesn't really work when "another day" turns out to be 365 days later. That's cray cray if you ask me. However, our album and pictures are GORGEOUS. So I can't be too mad about it now.
2) My class=school champions this week! Our class won 2nd place in a Box Tops competition and got to have a nacho party AND we won the perfect attendance trophy for the quarter! They were SOOOO excited to win!

3) Yesterday was my darling niece's 1st birthday party! She was the cutest little cowgirl ever! The party was really adorable with western themed decorations and a REAL LIFE PONY! That's right folks...A PONY! Is it sad that I wanted to have a pony ride too? Too bad I don't weight 50 pounds or am under the age of 10. And poor baby, we found out she is allergic to chocolate (hence the allergic reaction she had yesterday). :(

4)  We began our math unit on multiplication concepts and strategies. They really liked Amy Lemons' Marvelous Multiplication Unit activities and I def recommend it for beginners! :)

5) I am currently working on getting this bad boy up and running on TPT tonight! The first three people who comment with their email addresses will get this 12 activity Spring Literacy and Math Unit for FREE!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

  2. WOW! The pictures are beautiful and I am crazy jealous of your time theme. I studied in London for a semester but never made it to Italy. So glad you finally got the pictures. :)
