Liebster Blog Award

Enjoying my last few days of Thanksgiving break and received this awesome nomination from Anna at Simply Skilled in Second!! The Liebster Award (from the German, meaning “dearest” or “beloved”) is given to up and coming bloggers with fewer than 200 followers who deserve some recognition and support to keep on blogging. The rule is you answer the questions sent to you by the person who nominated you and then make up your own set of questions which you send to those you've chosen to nominate. 

Let’s start with the 11 random facts about me:

1. I love winter. Scarves, coats, berets, etc are my absolute FAVE!
2. I'm currently obsessed with Downton Abbey.
3. I am a complete shopaholic...maybe that's why I loved the novels! ;)
4. My guilty pleasure: Cheetos...and kettle corn.
5. Coffee or tea is a MUST during the weekday.
6. Paris is my most favorite place in the whole wide world!
7. Florence, Italy is second.
8. I met my darling husband in second grade :)
9. Hate math! :( Shhhh!!! Don't tell my kiddos!
10. I speak conversational French, Spanish, and trying to pick up Italian.
11. Would love to have my National Board Certification someday...that's my next goal.

1.  Car, SUV, or Mini-Van?

Car...I drive a Honda Civic even though my alter ego drives a Range Rover :)

2.  Do you have any children?

Not  yet. My hubby and I just got married last March, so we're thinking of waiting a few more years.

3.  What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Had a destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy. Wish we were still there!

4.  What is your favorite drink?

Coke Zero...it's awful for me, I know! But I love the fizz!!

5.  Health nut, couch potato or somewhere in between?

 Definitely not a health nut, but I do love TKB at the gym! I also love being a couch potato and watching all my Food Network shows (while eating my kettle corn). LOL!

6.  What is your favorite animal?

It was flamingos, but more recently I've discovered how AMAZING goats can be! No joke...Just watch this clip here!!

7.  Do you cry at movies?

All the time!

8.  Who is your favorite celebrity and why?

I'd have to say Audrey Hepburn...she's classic and such a beauty!

9. What is one thing you could tell us about yourself that others would be shocked to know?

I'm a teacher and I HATE math! :(

10. If you could have only 3 electrical appliances in your house, what would they be and why?

Coffee maker cause I need coffee, blender cause I love to cook,  and microwave...how else would I make my kettle corn?? ;)

11.  Italian food or mexican food?

This is a tough one....Mexican b/c I'm Mexican BUT I married a wonderful Italian boy and love Italian food too. It has to be a tie!
