I was lucky enough to be paired up with Katie from Smiles from 2nd Grade for this product swap!
Her blog is full of wonderful ideas and my students have been LOVING the activities this month! We got to try out her All About Arrays {Getting Ready for Multiplication} Unit and her Cause and Effect Fun: A Plethora of Activities. Two units, you ask?? I know...HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?
Since multiplication was our current math unit, using her arrays unit was perfect! This amazing array unit is such a bargain! It's only $3 and it comes with 62 pages full of vocabulary posters, interactive array activities, scoots (my kids LOVE scoots!), memory games, scavenger hunts, practice sheets, and even an activity to make a yummy array snack! :) My students really enjoyed all the activities. It was a nice change during math and math workshop since we've been doing soooooo much CST prep. These activities enabled my kids to get all the practice and reinforcement they needed for multiplication concepts and let them have some fun for a change!

Spin an Array was definitely a class favorite!

Roll and Array was fun too! I also used her practice sheets as part of our math problem of the day in our math investigation journals.
The next resource we were able to try out was the Cause and Effect Fun. It has cause and effect signs/posters, loads of different cause and effect flip books, cause/effect sorting activities, and even a scavenger hunt! Katie never disappoints with the amount of activities found in each unit! :) Cause and effect is always such a fun strategy to teach the kids, so her unit was perfect for reinforcement and extra practice. My kids especially liked the cause/effect scavenger hunt because they got to come up with their own causes for each effect!

Can't really see it on the picture, but this little gal had the funniest causes/effects for the scavenger hunt! What happens to a cat that eats all their food...they get FAT! LOL! Kids are the funniest!
