Five for Friday!

HAAAAAPPPPYYYY FRIDAY!!! I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs ON TIME for her Five for Friday linky party! :)
I launched my Fab Fiesta ELA and math centers this week! My kiddos started using them today and L.O.V.E.D. the alliteration! Would you like to practice your word work with synonym sombreros? Or how 'bout your plural skills with pinata plurals?? Hehehe...they think it's genius! ;)

I should have started out with THIS news, but I really wanted to show you the cute May centers! Soooooooo...we've been learning about American Heroes in our social studies curriculum...the usual...Alexander Graham Bell, Jackie Robinson, Sally Ride...etc. All WONDERFUL heroes to learn about. But when your hubby tells you he is currently working on a special project (he's in the aerospace industry) with a NASA ASTRONAUT, you naturally think "my students GOTTA meet him!!!" And my hubby, being the awesome guy he is, makes it happen! :D This amazing retired NASA astronaut (Dan Bursch) will be coming to our class to speak to our 2nd graders! YAY! I hear he even brings some super cool space stuff! I can't wait...stay tuned for a blog post about his visit!!

I joined the Instagram partayyyyy! Follow me by clicking on the image below! :)

I got to make some suuuper cute cards at our card making night! This one was my fave! :)

We start CST testing (our state test) this coming Tuesday! Thanks to Pinterest, I found so many cute ideas on little motivational treats to give our kiddos!! I can't wait to hand these to them in two weeks!! Prayers, good vibes, etc. are greatly appreciated!! :)

Link up and tell us about your week!

  4. Love your adorable card! I used to make cards pretty frequently at card nights, need to get back into that, you might have just inspired me to do so!
