Catching Up...

I can't believe it's been 10 whole days since I last blogged! YIKES! I promise it's for a good reason though! The hubby and I have been traveling and experiencing life in the south. Well, New Orleans to be exact. That's as far south as we California folk have ever been! And let me tell you...we LOVED it! We spent a wonderful and relaxing week in NOLA (I think now that we've experienced New Orleans, we get to try and act "cool" and call it NOLA..hehehe) eating as much delicious food as our little (well not so little now) tummies desired! The hubby and I have done our fair share of traveling throughout Europe, Asia, and Mexico. But New Orleans had some SERIOUSLY BOMB food! If you don't believe me...here's proof!

See? I told you we ate well! We also spent time on tours around the creole plantations, foodie bike ride, and even a GHOST tour! Spooky! Despite my major fear of all things scaweee, I was okay. ;) I sound like a public service ad for NOLA, but seriously folks...if you haven't been, GO! It's such a historical and magical place! And no, I'm not talking about the Voodoo!

Now back to the educational portion of this post! Since you've read this far down the blog, I have a freebie for you! I got a few requests for the banner I made for my classroom. So, I've created a freebie for 1st-5th. You can click on the image below to download it for free! Here's what mine looked like in my classroom.

Enjoy!

  1. I'm glad you loved NOLA!!! It is such a fabulous place to visit! Thank you for sharing your banner! It is beyond cute and I will definitely be adding it to my room decor (it matches perfectly).
