Sunday Funday!

The weekends just go by way too fast! Am I right?? I can't believe it's already Sunday and I'm just getting to school work. Grading. Blogging. Grading. More grading. :( But this weekend wasn't all that bad! I got to spend Saturday evening helping out at our school's Western Night with my hubby of course. It was so much fun to see all my kiddos running around having a BLAST with their families. It seriously was the cutest thing ever getting to just have fun outside the classroom with them! Plus, they got to meet the elusive Mr. Rossi!! Win-win. Here's a little peek at our night!
This coming week is also our school's Red Ribbon Week. The whole week is filled with fun dress up days and activities for our students. Tomorrow is crazy socks day..."Sock it to Drugs!" What fun things does your school do to kick off this week? I'm looking forward to our door decorating contest! Look at what DARLING owls we made on Friday for our classroom door! I hope we win...
Today my hubby and I participated in Equinox's first ever Tri-Classithon! 3 classes + 1 day = tired legs and arms! It was sooo much fun seeing some of my work buddies there too! We started out with a 30 minute INTENSE spin class led by the fabulous Patti Mc Cullum! Oh by the way, she's also my wonderful 3rd grade teammate! How she manages to teach fitness classes before and after school AND have a family is still a mystery to me! She's pretty awesome!! Following the spin class was a 30 minute cardio circut class with 15 stations (1 minute each station). Jumping jacks, burpees, push-ups, sit-ups, etc... I was one tired girl!!!! Then they wrapped up the event with a yoga/stretch session and handed out awards for best of in each event! Guess who got the greatest number of sit-ups of ALL the girls? Yep, little old me! Here's my proof...
Equinox gyms are seriously like a SPA people! I couldn't believe how fancy shmancy the ladies locker rooms were and how clean and spa-like everything was there. I guess when I have an extra 200 dollars a month to spare for a gym membership, I'm definitely getting my workout at Equinox! Until then, my sad little self will have to do with 24 Hour Fitness! WAHHHHHH!

To wrap up this hodge-podge mix of topics, I've decided to leave up my Fall Freebie from this week's blog hop up for another week! I know, you can thank me later people! ;)
Enjoy!

  1. I love your RRW door. I was just wondering what I'm going to do for my door this week. And since my room theme is owls I just might have to "borrow" your idea. :) Thanks for the fall freebie!
