Trade and Grade!

For this month's Trade and Grade, I was matched with the wonderful Jaime Sears from Diary of a Not So Wimpy Teacher.

  

I got to try out her deliciously fabulous "Grilling Up Some Math Fun" centers! My students absolutely LOVED each and every center! Jaime did such a great job making these centers fun and engaging for kids. I mean, who doesn't want to factor some franks or drink up some division facts?! She really made my kids giggle with all the cute center names and these skills could not be any more perfect for this time of year! It was refreshing having these centers available to my kids throughout the day since we are in the midst of the SBAC test.

 

I liked using Jaime's centers as part of my math workshop time. They are a great learning tool in the classroom and we used them as a resource for reviewing the standards we've learned this trimester. They're a perfect review for beginning of the year 4th graders or end of the year 3rd graders! Here are a few action shots of my students using Jaime's centers:
