Listening: to Lana Del Rey's rendition of "Once Upon a Dream" from Maleficent. Ohmyword that song is so pretty! Can't get enough of her voice. The movie was REALLY great too! I am NOT an Angelina fan AT ALL, but this movie might make me like her more as an actress. MAYBE. We'll see.
Loving: My end-of-the-year scavenger hunt I whipped up this week! I needed something fun and engaging for my students who are just as tired and checked out as any of us are. Take a little peek! It's available at my TpT shop {HERE}!
Thinking: About our dinner plans...eat out? Cook? I can't decide!
Wanting: to go shopping for summer clothes! A trip to my favorite SCP Mall is in order!
Needing: to plan out our NY trip excursions! Any ideas, sweet friends?? I'll be at the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy this summer in Jersey City and get every evening off to go out and have fun with the hubby! So far, we've planned to see my boyfriend Derek Jeter and his NYY play, but haven't really thought of anything else. Broadway is another on my list too! Feel free to let me know of any cool sites or restaurants you think would be wort our while! :)
Summer Bucket List:
1) NY/Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy
2) TpT Conference in Vegas! Anyone else going?? I can't wait to meet up with my bloggy pals!
3) RELAX! Can you believe my WHOLE July is booked?!? Yikes. I just want to have time and actually do nothing this summer! Beach bum is what I want to be all about!!
What are you up to this summer??
We have 10 days to go too! We can do it! I may be taking an adventure to NY this summer too...my son is considering Columbia University! Have a wonderful last days of school...
ReplyDeleteI was laughing when I read your July is booked because that is my June. I will be gone for 3 weeks at a STEM conference in Orlando where I am presenting and then it just so happens that my daughter's dance nationals are the week after...in Orlando. I am just staying up there and they will meet me there. I hope someone feeds the dog while I am gone! I would so love to go to Vegas, but after a month away from home, I am looking forward to being a beach bum here in Miami. I can't wait to read about all of your fun

I am so excited about Vegas, too! I hope I get the chance to meet you!!

It looks like you'll be having a fabulous summer! I've never been to the TPT conference, maybe I'll make time for that next year!
ReplyDeleteWhile in NY try to stay away from eating in Times Square, most of the restaurants were chains and the prices were crazy because of the large amount of tourists. :)

Top of the Rock is a great place to visit to get an aerial view of the city. Plus it's not usually as crowded as the Empire State Building.
