Monday Made It-Sub Tub

I am 3 for 3 on linking up to Tara's summer Monday Made It! Thank goodness, because I think it's definitely keeping me focused on crafting and creating things for my classroom this fall! :)

Today I'm sharing a quick and SUPER simple way to organize your docs/files for a sub and create a special place for emergency sub plans...the SUB TUB!
We all know how one minute, teachers can be totally fine and the next, you're super sick. Too sick to even drive to work and create sub plans. That's why I always keep an extra set of emergency sub plans in my classroom. BUT, are they readily accessible? Are they visible? Are they right in front of your sub's nose but they can't seem to locate those important plans or TE's?? Sometimes that can also be a problem! FOR REAL. So, that's why I created a sub tub with all my classroom information and emergency lessons plans. Everything the sub needs is right there when they need it!

Here are a few things you'll need:
  • a table top file storage (any color will do, I liked the clear look)
  • glue gun
  • ribbon
  • sub tub label (you can download my version HERE
Once you have all the items you can begin to make your sub tub! Just glue down the ribbon and label, and TA-DA! You've just created the most simple and fancy sub tub ever!

Link up with 4th Grade Frolics for Tara's Monday Made It and share your summer crafts!
