This weekend, I made some GORGEOUS cards at our monthly stamp camp group! Look at the beauties below! I am in LOVE with that hot air balloon pop-up!
I was in a baking mood and whipped up this yummy fruit tart for my cousin's graduation party...and I am NOT a baker! I love, love, love to cook all sorts of yummy things I see on Pinterest.
But when it comes to baking...it's not my forte, to put it nicely. So
when my sister-in-law introduced me to this deliciously EASY and
fool-proof dessert, I was on-board immediately! I've made it a whole
FIVE times and it's getting yummier each time! So this is my Monday Made It treat for those of you that don't bake but want to, or
those that are pros and would like another yummy dessert under their
belt!
Fresh Fruit Tart
For the crust:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 cup of flour
1 1/2 sticks of butter
-Mix into processor/mixer, flatten, roll into firm ball and chill in fridge for 30 mins
-Press into 12 inch tart pan and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
For the filling:
1 8oz cream cheese square
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tsp. of pure vanilla extract (or real vanilla bean)
1/4 cup of heavy cream (I used greek yogurt instead)
-Beat until smooth and spread over cooled crust
Assemble:
-You can assemble the berries in any kind of order, but strawberries should be closest to the crust.
-I use strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and kiwi (you can also use raspberries)
Chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes right before serving and enjoy!
See how easy peasy that was??? And it looks so pretty too!

I love your cards! I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for several years. But since I started teaching, all my paper crafting is school related. I sure do miss my stamps. Maybe I can squeeze in a card this week. You have me inspired!
