Five For Friday!

Happy Friday! I'm back today with some Five for Friday fun! Don't forget to link up and share your week too!
SO stinking excited for my new blog design to be completed! As much as I love my little old blog design now, I took the plunge and got my own domain address (sailingintosecond.com) which meant I needed a Wordpress designer. Luckily, my girl Becca from Jumpin Jax Designs convinced me she could whip up something fabulous! Oh boy...she was right! Here's a little sneak peek at what's on it so far!
blog, teacher, sailing into second,
I am LOVING the little sailboat and it's stripes! Who am I kidding, I love it all!

Getting my suitcase ready for the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy in Jersey City this week! I've got my bags packed and ready to fly out to NY Saturday! WOO-HOO!! It'll be a fun week full of math and science workshops with 150 teachers all over the country put on by the NSTA. My hubby's coming along too, so we can have excursions to NYC after my classes are done each day. So far we've planned to see my make believe boyfriend Jeter play at a Yankees game and watch Wicked on Broadway! But I've got to squeeze in a shopping trip somewhere in there, right ladies?!?

Finished my very first classroom decor pack

Whewww! It took a few weeks to finish it, but I am so glad it's done. Click on the image below for a name tag freebie!

Now that's led me to a new dilemma...new classroom theme/decor?!? AGHHHH!! I can't decide! Help friends! Keep or start fresh?

Dilemma #2...I want to start using this bad boy...but that means lesson planning....and that means BACK TO SCHOOL! WAHHHHHHH! It's so pretty...yet it makes me so sad! My teammate and I posing with our Erin Condren teacher planners that our whole school won!

  1. I used to have a Wordpress Blog, back in the days when I had a food blog, and I really liked it! :) Your new design is looking great!

  2. Your new blog design is looking good!!! I LOVE your classroom decor - I say keep it! It's so bright, cheerful, and happy! But your decor pack is also fabulous so I see why you're having a hard time deciding! :)

  3. oh my goodness! I LOVE your classroom! If those pictures are from the end of the year, I'm even more impressed! After state testing and end of the year festivities, my room was a battle zone those last couple months. In case you're as hooked on Erin Condren as much as I am, I am giving away a $25 EC gift card on my blog!

  4. Love the striped sail on the boat - too cute! Your classroom looks amazing, but it would be sad to take down the palm tree. How did your school win the planners? They are beautiful. Have fun in NJ!

  7. I don't know how long you've had your classroom decor, but I say KEEP it. It's so CUTE! I've heard a lot about Erin Condren planners… Why do teachers like them so much? Maybe I should get myself one! :)
