Today I'm linking up with my bloggy friend Molly from Lucky to Be in First for her amazing Fabulous Freebies on the 15th linky!
If you know me, you know I LOVE organizing and cleaning...I call it the Monica Geller Syndrome. How many of you have tons of post-its sticking all over your desk as
reminders of little things but no real place to write them without forgetting all about them?? That was me people. That is until I found the Erin Condren deskpad
where ALL my notes, doodles, and reminders could stay in one place.
It
keeps my desk looking a whole lot neater...and that makes my heart pitter-patter with organizational happiness! (due to Monica Geller Syndrome) Back to the freebie...so when I saw pictures and pins of ways to organize your computer DESKTOP, I was beyond excited! Now BOTH places could be chaos free!!
I'm always saving downloads, pictures, files, EVERYTHING to my desktop first, thinking that eventually those files will make their way to a nicely organized folder. Key word...eventually...as in...never rarely. I like to think I have a photographic memory and can pin point where on my desktop that one clip art file or screenshot is. Anyone with me on this?? That's why this idea of an image to help organize files is GENIUS! Simply genius people! But everything I found online had either odd colors or background paper I just didn't care for. So I created a simple (but of course stylish and cute) desktop background organizer you can use for your computer.
My organized desktop! |
Simply click on the images below to download this jpg. I also included a blank template with no headers so you can personalize it with your own text using a picture editor like Photobucket or PicMonkey. Just remember to save the file again with the changes. Then set the image as your desktop background! Easy peasy!

I've been searching for desktop images to help keep everything organized lately so it's so funny that I just found yours from instagram!!! Love the chalkboard frames that you included! Those frames are some of my favorite!!
ReplyDeleteIn love! I had no idea this was possible. I definitely need a place for all of my screen shots!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Get some of the data in a desktop, a physical media which you control and set terms of. But explore as much storage options as possible, so that the backup is more dispersed and thus ascertained.

This is the greatest idea of all time!
