Hello sweet friends! I can't help but feel the Spring Break itch already...maybe it's cause I'm sitting here in my pj's drinking my warm coffee and watching daytime television all from my couch. Sigh...I'm looking forward to having more days like this during Spring Break! Today our elementary schools have a Trimester Break, so we get Friday off! Woo-hoo! It isn't Spring Break, but I WILL TAKE IT! :)

This week we've been moving and scooting to get the wiggles out! Anybody with me on the whole Spring Break itch?? My kids have been a little restless these past few days and maybe it's that whole time change. So scoots have been a blessing for my kids! We've been working on area and perimeter in math this month so I thought a fun activity to wrap up our week of learning could be this Cheez-It activity I saw on Pinterest. I modified it a tiny bit for my kids but they definitely enjoyed it nonetheless. I mean, workbook activity vs. Cheez-Its?! My activity was the winner!

Card making has been a new hobby of mine and I can't get enough crafting done during the week. I can't wait till school's out this summer so I can really get back into crafting! If you're local (SoCal) maybe I'll even look into hosting a card making class. That includes you, Miss Kindergarten!! :)

I'm not going to be at the TPT conference, but I will be in Vegas that week for a different conference!! I would love to hear Nicki speak too!! That TPT conference is going to be AMAZING!! Wish I wasn't already going to the one I am! Let me know what your think about the Melonheadz club too. I thought about joining, but $50 is a lot of money to invest!!

I may have to become a Melonheadz addict too! Um, trimester break? We don't have anything like that. I have half days all next week for conferences, but it ends up being a really long week. Have a good weekend!!

I would LOVE a trimester break (trimester just ended last week) especially since my Spring Break isn't until mid-April. We have Cesar Chavez Day off but that isn't until the last day of March....
